Objective

1.         To inventarise and map the problems in relevant sectoral areas of the entire state requiring S&T intervention.
2.         To document and map the problems so identified on GIS platform and implement problem specific S & T intervention. 

Approach

• The important sectors of relevance for the State development are selected for study.
• The proforma for data collection is designed for acquiring information in these sectors.
• Interaction meetings are being organized with development departments, research institutions, and government / non-government institutions at head office as well as in districts for data collection. Besides this, technical reports, Internet and newspaper are also utilized for data collection.
• Compilation of district level/block level data
• Tabulation of data.
• Data Evaluation and Analysis.
• Identification location of Specific Problems.
• Mapping of identified problems on GIS base.
• Preparation of Reports & GIS maps with the help of related development departments.
• The ultimate objective of the scheme is to develop the coordinated projects involving concerned departments for tackling the problem with S&T interventions.
